Iranian short ‘Behind the Glasses’ to go to Canada

Iranian short flick ‘Behind the Glasses’ has been selected to compete at the 21st edition of the Nickel Independent Film Festival in Canada.

Directed by Mehdi Iravani, the short film centers on the story of children who are fighting cancer.

Written by Pegah Emami, the short has participated in different festivals, including the 2021 Amity Film Festival in Turkey.

The Nickel Independent Film Festival hosts films from around the world and provides an opportunity for filmmakers to present their works.

The festival also includes educational programs and workshops.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for July 19-25.
